The Chinese drone manufacturer DJI has reinvented himself once again. During a ceremony worthy of Hollywood that took place yesterday at 20:30 (Spanish time) were presented the two new drones of the factory of Shenzhen: The new DJI Inspire 2 and the new DJI Phantom 4 Pro.

The DJI Inspire 2 completes the range started with the Inspire 1, being one of the most flexible and professional drone of the brand and the market. The new drone incorporates new cameras, X4S and X5S, more powerful than the previous X3 and X5 capable of recording in 5.2K in CinemaDNG or Apple ProRes format.

The newest solution for the DJI Inspire 2 is the inclusion of redundant electronics and flight controllers, as well as the use of 2 batteries in flight, which guarantee a range of 27min with the X4S camera.

In addition, as his younger brother, the DJI Phantom 4, the new Inspire 2 has front sensors for detection and evasion of obstacles, as well as an FPV camera for vision by the pilot in command.

The new DJI Phantom 4 Pro is a review of its brother DJI Phantom 4, with a redesigned camera that is equipped with a 1-inch sensor and innovative solutions in electronics and image compression.

Following the new standards of the Chinese brand, the new Phantom 4 Pro is also equipped with sensors for its four sides as well as its bottom, which ensures stable and safe flight under the most demanding conditions.

The deliveries of both models are expected to begin in January 2017, so they can be an unbeatable Santa´s gift. In the case of the Phantom 4 Pro the launch price is similar to that of Phantom 4, 1699 €. However, the price of Inspire 2 is much higher than that of its brother Inspire 1, starting at € 3399 without camera, to which must be added a camera as the X4S or X5S (valued at € 2199), the secondary command Camera control (629 €) and many, many TB50 batteries at the unit price of 199 €.

Drone by Drone is already in charge of its first units, hoping to release them at the beginning of 2017. Soon we will see the new DJI birds in the air.
