DJI Matrice 600 with agricultural settings

Drone by Drone has implemented to the new drone DJI Matrice 600 a configuration for work in precision agriculture.

It is a solution consisting of 2 cameras, one capturing the near-infrared spectrum (NIR) and another capturing images in visible spectrum (RGB). The cameras have been suitably modified in software to be operated by the A3 Pro controller of the Matrice 600. By the simultaneous acquisition of data using both cameras, we can perform work for precision agriculture in crop assessment and 3D terrain. We can made by both vigor maps of crops based on NDVI index and 3D terrain models based on photogrammetry for planning works of earthworks and irrigation.

During the celebration of the IX Professionals LleidaDrone Conference a flight demonstration of the capabilities of the M600 DJI this configuration was made, able to verify the advantages of this aerial platform between the obsolete type DJI S900 or DJI S1000.
