Water Quality Control and Contaminant Discharges using drones

Drones are a fundamental tool in places that are difficult to reach because they give us an unrivaled aerial perspective. In the case of water extensions, both large and small, drones allow us to observe their surface from different heights and perspectives.

Drone by Drone, through its large fleet of drones, carries out monitoring of pollutant discharges as well as water control, a key work for environmental quality, both chemical and ecological.

The drones also allow the collection of samples at a distance and at the precise point of analysis, both surface and depth.

The preservation of the environment using drones is done by means of multispectral, thermographic or visible spectrum cameras, since it is possible to easily distinguish from the air changes in the liquid surface, both marine, rivers or lakes and reservoirs, due to multiple factors. In some cases, changes in temperature or changes in water reflectance, due to the presence of pollutants, captured by the sensors carried by our drones, allows the early detection of spills, as well as their control and evaluation.

The work that the operating company of drones has been doing in environmental matters take place both in the open sea over large areas of water and in smaller areas such as sewage treatment plants or WWTP.

Drones or RPAS continue to be a fundamental tool in many sectors, and its technological development is allowing more and more jobs to be done more efficiently, quickly and accurately.
