Drone by Drone has participated in the shooting of the aerial video of the installation of MAREA, the Submarine Cable that Telxius, Microsoft and Facebook have deposited in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean for the connection of broadband between the coast of the United States and Europe.
The 6,600km long cable, whose connection to the European continent was made at Sopelana Beach in Bizkaia, will allow a connectivity of 160 terabits per second, or what is the same, can connect some 80 million videos to the time or more than 5,000 million voice conversations at the same time.
The ship in charge of its installation together with the whole equipment was recorded from the air by Drone by Drone, which made available to the project managers an important display of means. In an upcoming video we will detail how it was done.
