Drone by Drone co-leads and participates in the RFIDrone Project promoted by the Mobility and Logistics Cluster of Euskadi within the Neptune European Acceleration Program.
The project focuses on the so-called Blue Growth, or what is the same in the sustainable growth of the marine and maritime sectors, seeks to find solutions to the logistics sector through the joint use of RFID and drone technology.
RFID specialist Stockare and the Bilbao-based drone operator will try to develop a prototype that will allow a fast and efficient management of goods and parcels in large logistics processes or in large areas, both outdoors and covered. To do this, both companies will make available to the RFIDrone Project all the know-how and the potential available to carry out the prototype finalization.
Drone by Drone and Stockare have a year to develop the Project, which should be completed with the demonstration of RFIDrone by a prototype in a case study. For the moment, both companies focus on the definition of the state of the art and on the analysis of the elements and systems that must compose the final prototype.
