Drones with artificial vision technology and machine learning

In Drone by Drone we like to fully exploit the capabilities of our work tools: drones.

As a result of the interest of the RPAS operating company and the new needs that arise for customers, we are exploring cutting-edge technologies such as machine vision and machine learning.

After successfully completing a test program, based on test flights and intense cabinet work, we position ourselves as specialists in the use of these technologies for multiple sectors in which drones are going to become a very powerful and functional tool .

The tests carried out have been based on two fields as disparate as Tracking and Rescue and the Industrial Maintenance Sector or Precision Agriculture.

Basically, through the combined use of both technologies, our drones are able to capture the valuable aerial data and interpret the possible anomalies that you want to find.

For the specific case of the Search and Tracking of missing people in mountain or sea, the use of both technologies make it possible to have a real-time visualization and data analysis tool automatically by means of a computer, without the eyes of a person or persons are needed. In this way, the human factor of the equation is discarded, in addition to the possible fatigue accumulated by pilots and observers after hours of tracking flights. The computer, through a range of patterns and using thermal imaging cameras, is able to find the target much more efficiently than the human eye, even in the most adverse conditions.

The use of these same patterns, in this case focused on maintenance in the industrial sector, allow drones to perform work more quickly and accurately, since they are capable of detecting those anomalies or pathologies that are being looked for in aerial inspection.

All an advance that little by little we will be implementing in our drones, fruit of the alliance of our flight teams and the latest technology in computing.

We will continue informing.
