Drone by Drone in the ETB2 Teleberri on drone legislation

The Technical Director of Drone by Drone has been interviewed by the EiTB information services about the legislation on drone or RPAS and flight restrictions.

Drone operating companies must comply with a strict air safety law, as well as people who fly in a recreational manner. The current legislation is established as of RD1036 / 2017 approved in December 2017.

The agency that is responsible for ensuring the safety of the State Aviation Safety Agency, or AESA. On its website, in the drone section, you can consult the regulations and associated documentation.

In the Basque Country, as stated in the interview, the space to fly drones both professionally and amateur is very limited, due to the presence of nearby airports in the three provincial capitals, Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria. Before carrying out a drone operation, the documentation must be consulted, both in AESA and in ENAIRE, the air traffic manager.
