Drone by Drone in the First Lego League 2019, a journey through space

Drone by Drone has participated one more year in the celebration of the First Lego League, the STEAM competition promoted by Innobasque in Euskadi and that becomes the reference program of STEAM Education in the Basque Country and the largest tournament in Spain.

The drone operating company based in Bilbao has developed one of the txokos of the Opengune, based on the thematic challenge of this year, the Space. Along with the txokos of Iberdrola, Azti, Petronor, Jakindun, Ausolan or Sener, among others, Drone by Drone has made a static exhibition of drones adapted to the most demanding missions. It has also implemented a racing drones flight simulator based on the FatShark 101 competition team in which attendees have been able to enjoy a free flight or the route through a circuit with gates. The youngest have been able to demonstrate their skills at the controls of these small racing drones thanks to the simulator, demonstrating that the generational change will be covered in the near future.

In addition, Drone by Drone has had the pleasure of delivering the 3rd Drone by Drone Award to Robot Design. The winners of this award were the students of the Arizmendi-MU1 team of Arizmendi Ikastola, delivering the longed-for lego-copa our Operations Director, Jordi Monedero.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants, and I'm sure we'll see you in the next edition.
