Txakoli Txabarri, thanks to the use of Drone by Drone drones in precision agriculture tasks, has been awarded the 2019 BTEM Prize for Food Innovation organized by Azti and the Euskadi Food Cluster.
The new process represents an important novelty regarding the starting situation and an improvement in sustainability, both economically and environmentally, that derive from the implementation of this innovation.
The jury has underlined the high level of change and implementation of the improvements caused by the use of drones in the process of monitoring and selective harvesting in the wine plantations.
