Theoretical online training for RPAS pilots by AESA

The State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) has published a notification indicating that during the State of Alarm situation generated by the COVID-19 crisis and established according to RD463 / 2020, training organizations (ATOs, authorized ultralight schools and non-powered flight schools, which provide remote pilot training for the obtaining the basic or advanced THEORETICAL CERTIFICATE or the training to obtain the RADIO SPEAKER qualification, they will be able to do all the theoretical training and exams in a telematics through videoconferences, including, in addition, on-line training elements that are necessary.

In addition, the theoretical training, associated with the course for obtaining the PRACTICAL CERTIFICATE, can also be done electronically, including taking the theoretical-practical exam about the management of the RPAS.

As we recently announced, Drone by Drone continues to provide training to obtain both certificates for RPAS piloting, theoretical and practical, so this measure further guarantees, if possible, the possibility of successfully completing the courses.

This is good news for the sector, which makes work more flexible and adapts to the state of alarm and the restrictions caused by the COVID19 pandemic.
