Drone by Drone has participated in the inspection by drones, both inside and outside of the monument to the Virgin of La Antigua de Orduña, located on Mount Txarlazo.
Due to the deteriorated state of conservation of the monument and its importance, both from a historical and technical point of view, its condition has been evaluated by qualified technical personnel. Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Coronation of the Virgin of La Antigua, the Orduñés technical architect and specialist in concrete structures, Antón Ortega, in collaboration with other Orduña entities, has carried out an exhaustive study on the degree of conservation of the monument and of the pathologies that affect it, mainly due to its age and inclement weather.
On July 22, the talk was presented showing the conclusions of the study and the possible corrective measures, including the origin and history of the monument and its evolution over the years. A talk that includes very interesting technical details about this type of reinforced concrete structures, which, thanks to the use of drones or RPAS, have been able to be precisely analyzed.
