Thermographic cameras in precision agriculture using drones

Precision agriculture work using drones requires the use of very specific cameras, capable of capturing data that are invaluable to the naked eye through the human eye.

The wavelengths captured by RPAS equipped with multispectral cameras or thermographic cameras allow us to obtain fundamental parameters for the farmer and to obtain efficiency in his plantation.

An example of this is the following attached image in which a field of vegetables is shown with the sun at its highest point and emitting the maximum radiation and therefore temperature. The comparison between the image captured by the thermal imaging camera and the image captured by the visible spectrum (RGB) camera, shows the difference between one area of the image much hotter than the other.
