Drone by Drone has provided RPAS piloting training to a group of controls from the Municipal Police of Valladolid.
During a tailor-made course for the local security corps, theoretical classes have been given, both online and face-to-face, along with practices in the airfield. Training for police commanders, aimed at the use of drones or RPAS in police tasks, has included obtaining the radiophonist certificate.
The operating company and drone school has helped the Municipal Police of Valladolid to start carrying out drone operations in their city, with many possibilities and in the vicinity of the Villanubla Airport. For this, the corps has followed a meticulous process of qualification, organization and training, protected by the Operations Manual drawn up for this purpose and by the Aeronautical Security Study coordinated with the Air Force to be able to fly in the controlled airspace of the aforementioned airport. near. It should be remembered that despite the fact that the FFCCSS must comply with current legislation, RD 1036/2017, they have partial exclusions in the operation of drones. Only chapters I and II of the aforementioned royal decree apply to them, but the organization of the service must be rigorous and professional, taking into account the complex airspace in which drone operations are to be carried out.
The Municipal Police of Valladolid will soon be able to take flight and take advantage of the drones acquired from the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual model from the Chinese manufacturer DJI. It has been a pride to be able to promote the use of drones by the FFCCSS.
