The technical director of DRONE BY DRONE has written an article that has been included in this year's edition of the ERNE magazine, a union that groups together all the professionals of the Basque Police who carry out their duties in the Autonomous Community of Euskadi, under the legal scope of the Basque Police Law.
The article entitled 'Use of UAS in the field of security by the Security Forces and Bodies', tries to clarify the regulations that affect this group, in the development of operations using drones when the new European regulations come into force .
A brief summary is made of the categories contemplated in the Implementing Regulation 2019/947, in force since January 1, 2021, and the legislation under which the so-called non-EASA operations must be carried out, such as those developed by the FFCCSS, fire fighting and search and rescue operations.
