Drone by Drone has had the opportunity to present, through an invitation from the Presidency of Iberdrola, the sustainability and environmental projects that are being carried out using drones by Iberdrola in the presentation of the Global Smart Grid Innovation Hub (GSGIHub) within the meeting of the European Toundtable for Industry that has taken place in Bilbao over the past few days.

In an act chaired by His Majesty Felipe VI, and accompanied by the Basque Government Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, and the First Vice President of the Government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, together with the authorities of the European Commission, regional and premises, the president of Iberdrola, Ignacio Sánchez Galán, presented the GSGIHub on the 25th floor of the Torre de Ibedrola in Bilbao, consisting of an exhibition of the main innovation projects carried out in the field of smart grids, the electric vehicle or the digitalization of the distribution network supported by the latest generation telecommunications systems. In addition, within the field of sustainability and the environment, and aligned with the principles of sustainable development, Drone by Drone has had the opportunity to present to the attendees the projects that are being developed for Iberdrola in this field, where aircraft unmanned are of great help.

For the drone operating company of Bizkaia, it is a true recognition to be able to participate in the event and accompany the delegation and also show the innovation applied to this business sector, answering the questions of such an interested audience. It is a pleasure to have been able to collaborate with Iberdrola, and to continue helping within our means to be able to make this world more livable for future generations, all through the use of drones.
