Drone by Drone has participated in the recording of aerial images using drones for the EiTB information services on account of the drought that has devastated Bizkaia this summer.
The aerial images, which testify to the brownish color of the low vegetation in the Zalla and Encartaciones area, have complemented the lead of the informative report.
On the Cantabrian slope, the greatest risk of fires occurs in autumn and winter. The humid climate and the management of wood have meant that there have been no major fires in the Basque Country this summer or in the last two decades, although the trend observed this summer worries experts. We will have to be vigilant during the coming months, and be especially cautious in our activities in the mountains or in the field.
