Drone by Drone participates in the S4AllCities security project in its Bilbao demostrator

Drone by Drone has had the opportunity to participate in the 'S4AllCities' Security Project in the pilot test that has been carried out at the Ertzaintza de Iurreta facilities.

The EU-funded 'S4AllCities' project aims to increase the security of cities' infrastructures, services, ICT systems and the Internet of Things, while promoting the exchange of intelligence and information between cities. security stakeholders.

To achieve the objectives, technological solutions have been integrated, among which are drones. The system focuses on risk-based smart open space security management, cybersecurity shielding, suspicious activity, behavior tracking, unattended object identification, real-time estimation of cyber-physical risks in multiple locations and the activation of measures for effective crisis management, through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision (VA).

During the demonstration exercise, coordinated in a Command and Control Center of the Ertzaintza, tools have been used, among others, to detect unauthorized drones, detect suspicious packages and the probability that these are an explosive device, as well as smoke and fire and simulation of the impact of indiscriminate attacks with firearms.

It is clear that drones are fundamental tools for maintaining security, providing them with intelligence and artificial vision.
