Drone by Drone has participated in the XXV edition of the National Congress of Auditors that is held on November 16, 17 and 18, 2022 in Bilbao.
The Bizkaia UAS operating company has been in charge of demonstrating the usefulness of the drone tool in audit work in the agricultural or forestry sector. To this end, demonstrations of precision agriculture flights using drones over vineyards have been designed, followed by an explanatory talk on the results obtained by processing the captured images. The data provided by the drones, generating reflectance maps of agronomic indices or orthophotos in RGB spectrum, allow the determination of agricultural yields, crop valuations or determination of exploitable surfaces and counting the number of plants.
The flight demonstrations and the talk have taken place in the facilities and plots of Txakoli Txabarri, attended by about 60 people participating in the National Congress of Auditors, together with heads of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (ICJCE). .
