We participate in the Intertidal Archeology Congress of Hamburg 2022

Drone by Drone has had the pleasure of being an active part of the Intertidal Archeology Congress held in Hamburg between November 18 and 20.

Thanks to our work through the use of drones for Arqueocean, we have participated in obtaining aerial data for the preparation of studies and research reflected in an abstract during the aforementioned congress.

During the last years we have carried out several registration campaigns of the estuaries in the province of Bizkaia, in which drones or UAS have played an important role, being able to discriminate or detect possible wrecks, interesting from an archaeological point of view, paying attention to the intertidal zone.

Despite the fact that many shipwrecks are from the 20th century, the wrecks form a rich source of information on shipbuilding in the 20th century and can provide details, which through the use of drones to collect data from the air, are invaluable.
