Drone by Drone in NavarraDirecto with agroforestry applications using UAS

NavarraDirecto, the agri-food bulletin for Navarra, the Basque Country, La Rioja and Aragon, has echoed the work that Drone by Drone has been carrying out for the agricultural and forestry sector through the use of drones or UAS.

The Basque drone operating company, which offers multiple applications, is working on the Nexada Project, promoted by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) and GAIA. This initiative seeks to accurately assess the quality of large areas of water such as ports, rivers or reservoirs, to warn of possible polluting discharges or the appearance of possible substances resulting from torrential rains in real time, providing innovative solutions for intelligent and sustainable management in the water cycle.

At the moment, the Nexada Project, which we carry out in collaboration with the company AquaDat, is finishing the experimentation phase to later be able to take the step towards its commercialization.

Throughout the interview, the use of drones for different agricultural or forestry applications is valued, with a vision aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
