Drone by Drone continues to make the most of the capabilities of drones. In this case, the aerial video in 360º. As we did for the first time in 2016 when mounting a Samsung Gear 360 on our DJI Inspire 1, we have repeated the experience with a slightly more modern camera, an Insta360 OneX, equipped above all with better image stabilization. In this case, the 360º video has been recorded from a drone or UAS over a snowy landscape in the province of Araba, during the snow storm of January 2023 due to the presence of the polar air mass.
Being a 360-degree video, it allows us to move our point of view as if we were uploaded on the drone. If we reproduce it from the Youtube APP on the mobile, simply by moving the mobile, we can move the point of view, being able to attach 360 glasses and achieving a more immersive environment. From the Youtube web viewer it is also possible to orient the point of view, moving the mouse or the cursor on the screen.
It is a flight test so that the viewer can enjoy the views and the sensation of being on the drone and fixing the view on the point that he wants.
