As a contractor and collaborator in advanced aerial robotics for I-DE, Drone by Drone has attended the institutional presentation of the Smart Grids Academy, launched by Iberdrola and Gaia, together with the support of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, through the strategy 'Bizkaia with the Talent'.
The Smart Grids Academy (SGA) is a transformational project in terms of talent in which Iberdrola and the GAIA cluster collaborate to ensure that there are professionals trained in digital skills that smart grids demand. A space that promotes the development of key skills for the Smart Electric Grids of the future.
In this sense, 4 training itineraries have been defined based on the principle of 'learning by doing' with STEAM methodology:
1.- Artificial Intelligence
2.- Cybersecurity
3.- Smart Grids
4.- Smart Industry
The three agents involved, through a methodology based on practical learning, define the itineraries whose main objective is to ensure that professionals are prepared to contribute to the development of new components, or systems, and the effective management of data from smart grids in a constantly evolving energy environment, assuming a strategy for development, loyalty and attraction of talent in Bizkaia
The Smart Grids Academy (SGA) project is a pioneering initiative worldwide, which is part of the strategy for development, loyalty and attraction of talent in Bizkaia to respond to the evolving challenges of the smart grid sector.
At Drone by Drone we will be able to contribute with our experience in drones or unmanned aircraft in the Smart Industry itinerary, as we have many years of experience working for Iberdrola and other industry agents. We will also surely benefit from the training work of the SGA and we will be able to train future candidates to form part of our team, with a clear specialization in the use of drones to support smart distribution networks.
