Yesterday was the 10th anniversary celebration of BIC Bizkaia, the Business Innovation Centre, which has been our operational headquarters for two years now.
The BIC Bizkaia incubator, promoted by the Basque Government and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and managed by Beaz, has supported the creation of 65 innovative companies, generates 500 jobs and the companies present have a turnover of 175 million euros. The centre, specialised in high added value sectors such as biotechnology, robotics, advanced manufacturing and clean technologies, has consolidated itself, after 10 years in operation, as a benchmark in the creation and acceleration of innovative business projects in Bizkaia.
The event was opened by the Minister of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government, Mikel Jauregi, and was closed by the Deputy General of Bizkaia, Elixabete Etxanobe, and a commemorative video was shown in which Drone by Drone could not be missing. Our drones have starred in some images of it, both as direct protagonists together with our staff, and by capturing aerial video of the facilities and their surroundings. In addition, several companies installed in the BIC have participated in a round table discussion in which the advantages of being located in this entrepreneurship center have been highlighted.
