Drone by Drone celebrates 10 years as a drone, RPAS or UAS operator authorized by AESA, the State Agency for Air Safety.
With the declaration of responsibility issued by Drone by Drone at the end of 2014 and validated by AESA on December 30, 2014, the drone operator company celebrates 10 years as an operator company carrying out professional work using drones. Let us remember that unmanned aircraft, also known as drones, RPAS or UAS, have been adopting different names according to the regulations in force at each moment.
In January 2015, AESA published the first list of operators authorized to use unmanned aircraft. In this list, which we keep with fond memories, there are less than 50 operators in all of Spain, which we consider a privilege, since Drone by Drone was the first authorized company in Bizkaia and the Basque Country.
During these 10 years of drone flights as professional operators we have had to adapt to three major regulatory changes, and we have always remained at the forefront of the drone sector in Spain. We will continue to apply our quality policy and maintain our highest operational standard for many more years.
We face the year 2025 full of new challenges with renewed enthusiasm and with the intention of continuing to give the best of our aircraft and our pilots.
