Our Technical Director has given a talk about the applicable regulations for paragliding, hang gliding or paramotoring, organized by the Cantabrian School of Paragliding (ESCANPA), Urdu Hegan and Club Parapente Castro.
In a talk lasting about 2 hours, given in Castro Urdiales, the main legal aspects and limitations for the flight of paragliders, hang gliders or paramotors were discussed, mainly reflected in Royal Decree 765/2022 regulating the use of ultralight motorized aircraft (ULM) and in Regulation (EU) 923/2012, air regulations and common operational provisions for air navigation services and procedures.
Numerous particular circumstances of areas with limitations were discussed using the tool provided by ENAIRE, INSIGNIA, which is a must for these lovers of air sports.
