Drone by Drone is taking part in the First Lego League 2025. We look forward to seeing you there!

Drone by Drone will participate in the 16th edition of the First Lego League Euskadi, which will take place next Saturday, February 22.

In collaboration with Innobasque, the event organizer, and the University of Deusto, within the activities of the Opengune, we will give a drone piloting workshop throughout the morning at the Xabier Kirolgunea sports complex of the Bilbao Campus of the University of Deusto. All attendees will be able to fly minidrones or toy drones in an area designated for this purpose, with the corresponding advice of our flight instructors.

In addition, we will carry out outdoor demonstration flights with professional drones, from the football field of the University of Deusto, allowing all those present to ask any questions they deem appropriate about the operations of unmanned aircraft.

Just like last year, Drone by Drone will also be participating in the award ceremony, as our Technical Director will be in charge of presenting the 'best DRONE BY DRONE trainer' award.

This year, the First Lego League Euskadi celebrates its 16th edition, organised uninterruptedly by the Basque Innovation Agency. It is an educational programme that promotes STEAM dynamics, lasting 6 months and involving a total of almost 3,000 schoolchildren forming 106 teams. Through this year's challenge, called 'Submerged Challenge', the teams will discover and work on how and why people explore the oceans and will propose projects to study the complex underwater ecosystem, which supports a healthy future for the plants and animals that live there.

In addition to the Bizkaia drone operator company, multiple institutions, companies and organisations collaborate with the development of the First Lego League. The institutions that will be involved are the Department of Education of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Álava, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Fomento de San Sebastián, Bilbao Ekintza – Bilbao City Council and the Mondragón City Council.

The Basque BIoDesign Center, BC Materials and Ikerlan are collaborating as technological research and development centres.

The companies that will be collaborating with this edition are Alzola, Ausolan, BBK, CAF, CimaSUB Danobatgroup, Doplay, Drone by Drone, Erreka, Fagor, Iberdrola, Krean, Laboral Kutxa, LKS Next, Lortek, Maier, Mondragon Corporación, Salto, Multiverse, Tabakalera and Vital Kutxa.

We encourage you to attend the event, which not only attracts participants but also those interested in promoting a motivating work environment that encourages the interest of attendees to discover and experience other forms of learning.
