Last week marked the premiere of the international series "Papá Soltero," a project we worked on with our film drones.
This international series, filmed in the Basque Country, recaptures the family spirit of the original comedy and adapts it to contemporary dynamics, transforming it into a new version of the classic that has shaped generations in Mexico, now with a fresher, more contemporary, and deeply human perspective.
It is co-produced by Onza Américas.
The 10-episode series premiered on June 13th on ViX's premium plan and on Atresplayer in Spain. Directed by Francisco Franco Alba, Alonso Iñiguez, and José Ramón Chávez, the cast includes Mauricio Ochmann, Ana de la Reguera, Mauricio Barrientos "El Diablito," Norma Angélica, José Luis Cordero "Pocholo," Romina Poza, Ana Tena, David Aguiar, and Erick Velarde.
We are thrilled to have been able to participate in the filming of this series, produced over 13 weeks in Bilbao, and to which we have contributed our cinema drones, led by the DJI Inspire 3 with its powerful X9 camera capable of recording in 8K and cinemaDNG.
