We're carrying out precision agriculture work using drones. For another campaign, our specialized drones are flying over the txakoli vineyards of Txa Txabarri, in the Encartaciones region of Bizkaia.
With the data obtained from our drones, we provide invaluable information to txakoli producers, as mildew has begun to appear in their crops this year. To identify potentially affected areas and evaluate the measures taken, the drone or UAS operator conducts successive flights to assist farmers in these tasks. By analyzing the reflectance maps obtained through multispectral cameras, we are able to identify excessive vigor or the appearance of mildew, something so important at this stage of production.
As we have been doing regularly with one of our most beloved clients, our fixed-wing drone, Sensefly eBee, is flying over the Txa Txabarri crops to provide a privileged view and carry out these important studies.
We will continue flying throughout this campaign until the grape harvest, to ensure that this year's harvest results in a large production of the highest quality txakoli. So far, the yield is not bad...
