Drone by Drone has completed filming on director Daniel Monzón's film "Pray for Us."
Co-written by Daniel Monzón and Jorge Guerricaechivarría, this story of friendship and resilience set against the backdrop of the Women's Protection Board was shot over nine weeks in Bizkaia, primarily in Orduña, and Barcelona.
The film's ensemble cast is led by Zoe Bonafonte (El 47) and newcomer Manuela Calle, alongside several young actresses such as Carla Domínguez (FoQ: The New Generation), María Gandiaga, and Shiara Fernández (Ni Una Más). The predominantly female cast is rounded out by renowned actors such as Adelfa Calvo (Is It the Enemy? Gila's Movie), Malena Gutiérrez (All About My Mother), María Cerezuela (Maixabel), Belén Cruz (Cell 211), Xavi Saez (Pain and Glory), and Bea Segura (Black Mirror), among others.
On the technical team, Monzón returns with many of his regular collaborators, such as Balter Gallart on production design, Vinyet Escobar on costume design, Carles Gusi as director of photography, and Mapa Pastor on editing.
We are delighted to be part of this dramatic film, which has stretched our cinematic drones to achieve impressive action sequences in coordination with the technical department and under demanding conditions, which we have successfully overcome.
