Drone by Drone, through its Technical Director, Ander García, has delivered a job training course for HAZI, entitled: 'USE OF DRONES IN PRECISION AGRICULTURE'
Unlike last year's online course, this edition opted for in-person training, including both theoretical instruction and hands-on UAS flight operations simulating precision agriculture at HAZI's facilities in Arkaute (Araba).
During the course, all participants' questions were answered, from the basics of what a manned aircraft is, to specific applications within the field of precision agriculture, including the existing regulatory limitations.
- What is a drone or unmanned aircraft?
- Different sensors or payloads
- Remote sensing techniques applied to precision agriculture
- Application of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision
- Practical use cases in the agricultural sector
- Applicable legislation
- Aerial application of pesticides using drones
- Final conclusions and questions
During the demonstration flights, participants were able to see how our tools work and the powerful capabilities they offer.
The course was aimed at professionals and companies related to any sector of the food and wood value chain in the Basque Country, and you can register for free at the following link.
At Drone by Drone, we have been committed to the use of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles, as they facilitate various agricultural and forestry tasks, especially those related to data collection through various sensors, also facilitating the digitization of data and information about crops, grazing areas, and forests.
