Drone by Drone had the pleasure of participating in the aerial filming for the production of the series 'Romi', recently released on Amazon Prime.
'Romi' is a project selected for the first edition of the ESCAC's 'SHOWRUNNER: Fiction Workshop' program and is a Mandarina production for Mediaset España, filmed in select locations in Bilbao.
The series follows the investigations of a young, hearing-impaired private detective with a remarkable talent for solving cases. At times, her talent can be overwhelming, and she also faces the typical problems of a young woman her age. Her tendency to skirt the law to solve cases and achieve her goals keeps her mother, Alaia, an inspector with the Ertzaintza (Basque Police), up at night.
Directed by Inés París, the series features a cast of actors, primarily from the Basque Country, including María Cerezuela, Natalia Millán, Edurne Azkarate, Unax Ugalde, Elena Irureta, Asier Etxeandia, Iñaki Font, Jon Olivares, Alvar Gordejuela, Mikele Urroz, and Verónika Moral.
We hope you enjoy the series as much as we enjoyed flying our film drone, the DJI Inspire 3, with its powerful X9 camera.
