Drone by Drone has participated in Teknopolis, the Basque ETB television program of science and technology.
This weekend has been issued both in ETB1 in Basque and ETB2 in Spanish a new installment of Teknopolis in which have analyzed the most technical applications through the use of drones.
Drone by Drone participates in the report that simulates a search and rescue of a missing person in the forest. The presenter of the show, Iñaki Leturia, is lost in the forest and is tracked by the drones of the Bilbao operating company through a thermographic camera that detects body heat. In this report you can see in action different drones from the Drone by Drone´s fleet, such as the powerful DJI Matrice 600 or the smaller DJI Mavic which is used as a support drone. The recordings were made in a mountain area with significant wind gusts, a phenomenon that did not affect the correct execution of the work.
In addition, we also participate in another report of the same program. Surely the most seasoned eyes will already have recognized our Inspire 1 Pro endowed with the thermal camera. Thanks to our close collaboration with important Basque companies, we can say that the FLIR XT thermal imager is a powerful tool.
