The Bilbao based drone operator company has moved to the province of Girona to celebrate the Drons N'Roses 2017 festival, as we did last year.
This year, the City Council of Roses and the Diputacio of Girona, organizers of the event, have wanted to enhance the applications of the drones in the agricultural sector.
Drone by Drone, as planned, carried out a demonstration of precision farming flight with the fixed wing drone Sensefly eBee on a vineyard parcels of Empordà Denomination of Origin, attended by technicians of the Regulator Council.
Two flights were carried out on an approximate surface area of 5ha, using a near-infrared spectrum camera (Canon NIR) and multispectral camera (parrot Sequoia). The operator of Basque drones also moved two units of DJI Mavic Pro to perform support and aerial photography.
Following the completion of the flights, with little more than an hour of margin, a talk was given with the obtained results from the flights, having processed them in that short time frame. The lecture dealt with the applications of precision agriculture in vineyards, being able to particularize on the plots flown and studied.

In parallel, we were able to attend as a public the drone races organized by DDC (Drones de Carreras) that had a spectacular circuit and assembly.
