Video of the 3D reconstruction of Baelo Claudia, for Cuarto Milenio by drones.

The Archaeological Ensemble of Baelo Claudia is a Roman factorial city declared a National Historic Monument, located in Playa Bolonia, in the municipality of Tarifa.

It was an important place due to the salted and preserved trade of the Roman Empire, although due to an earthquake in the 3rd century AD. its importance was declining.

Fourth Millennium, centered on the burial rituals found in the excavations of the ancient Roman city on Bolonia Beach, shows spectacular aerial images of the area. It is a necropolis in which more than a thousand sepulchres have been found during the hundred years of excavations. Javier Pérez Campos, from the Cuarto Milenio team, is investigating the proceedings against the Aorois, people who had died prematurely and were buried with strange rites, with manipulations of human bodies and burial laws with the aim of "fixing the soul in the earth".

The 3D reconstruction of Baelo Claudia has been done using drones, using photogrammetry techniques.
