Interview on the channel of the Basque company of SPRI - The Basque Business Development Agency

The Technical Director of Drone by Drone has been interviewed by the communication channel of the Basque Business Development Agency or SPRI.

The interview summarizes the path taken by the drone operating company from its origins in 2014, until today.

We start from the first work carried out for Kepa Junkera by Jordi Monedero, our Director of Operations, with a DJI Phantom 2. It must be taken into account that the video clip 'Sorginak Infernuko Hauspotik Irtetzen' was recorded entirely with a drone, laying the foundations for the use of drones for audiovisual recordings, as can be seen in this cut from the 2014 TVE1 Newscast. A job that we remember fondly today.

During our journey, which next year will reach 10 years (it is said soon) we have focused on a variety of sectors, both in the audiovisual and in the more technical sectors such as industrial inspections, precision agriculture, topography airline or emergencies and security. In these areas, we could not highlight all the successful works carried out, but due to the importance of their consequences and for being pioneers in the use of drones in these sectors, we could highlight those carried out for Txakoli Txabarri within the framework of precision agriculture, monitoring of the Ondarroa landslides in the context of emergencies and security, or the archaeological reconstruction of the remains of the Pancorbo Castle for the University of the Basque Country. Let's not forget either, that Drone by Drone was one of the first operators to give theoretical and practical training in drone piloting in 2015.

We are currently immersed in numerous innovation projects such as the Nexada project, for the control of water masses through unmanned aircraft, focusing on optimizing production efficiency, improving quality control at source, during the process and in the effluent itself, minimizing contamination and risks. This project is promoted by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) and the Association of Knowledge Industries and Applied Technology of Euskadi (GAIA).

Our daily effort is focused on spreading the benefits of using drones in almost all productive sectors, using innovative processes and tools, personalized for each client. We have to continue growing in the personalization of these services, and in demonstrating to our clients that they are effective, profitable, beneficial for the company and for the environment.
