We participated in the 15th First Lego League Euskadi with a drone piloting workshop for the participants

Drone by Drone, as usual, will participate in the 15th edition of the First Lego League Euskadi, which will take place next Saturday, January 2.

In collaboration with Innobasque, organizer of the event, and the University of Deusto, we will teach a drone piloting workshop throughout the morning at the Xabier Kirolgunea sports complex on the Bilbao Campus of the University of Deusto. All attendees will be able to fly minidrones or toy drones in an area designated for this, with the corresponding advice from our flight instructors. In addition, we saved some surprises for the final part of the day.

This year, the First Lego League Euskadi celebrates its 15th edition, organized continuously by the Basque Innovation Agency. It is an educational program in which STEAM dynamics are enhanced, lasting 6 months in which a total of almost 3,000 schoolchildren participate, forming 106 teams. Through this year's challenge, called MASTERPIECE, teams must identify a hobby that they want to share with others using technology in a creative way. The team's challenges will be to design and build a robot capable of solving various missions on a mat, develop an Innovation Project that identifies and solves a real-world problem within the theme of the MASTERPIECE challenge, and apply and defend the CORE VALUES.

In addition to the Bizkaia drone operating company, multiple institutions, companies and organizations collaborate with the development of the First Lego League. As institutions, the Department of Education of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Álava, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Fomento de San Sebastián, Bilbao Ekintza – Bilbao City Council and the Mondragón City Council do so.
The Basque BIoDesign Center, BC Materials and Ikerlan collaborate as research and technological development centers. The companies that collaborate with this edition are Alzola,
Ausolan, BBK, Bexreal, CAF, Danobatgroup, Dominion Global, Doplay, Drone by Drone, ElektrART, Erreka, Fagor Taldea, Iberdrola, Krean, Laboral Kutxa, LKS Next, Lortek, Maier
Mondragon Corporación, Salto Systems, Salto Wecosystem, Tabakalera and Virtualware and other entities such as the Santa María de Vitoria Cathedral Foundation, the Vital Fundazioia Foundation, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao and the Arriaga Theater.

We encourage you to attend the event, which not only attracts participants but also those interested in fostering a motivating work environment that drives attendees' interest in discovering and experiencing other forms of learning.
