Drone by Drone at the First Lego League 2024 at the University of Deusto in Bilbao

Drone by Drone has participated in the 15th edition of the First Lego League held at the University of Deusto in Bilbao.

Continuing with the collaboration that the drone operating company has been carrying out with the organizers of the #FLLEuskadi, Innobasque and the University of Deusto, we have developed a drone piloting workshop for students and attendees within the so-called Opengune, the program of parallel activities to the development of the competition.

This year, the First Lego League Euskadi celebrated its 15th edition, organized continuously by the Basque Innovation Agency. It is an educational program in which STEAM dynamics are enhanced, lasting 6 months in which a total of almost 3,000 schoolchildren participate, forming 106 teams. Through this year's challenge, called MASTERPIECE, teams have identified a hobby they want to share using technology in a creative way. The teams' challenges have been the design and construction of a robot capable of solving various missions on a mat, and the development of an Innovation Project that identifies and solves a real-world problem within the theme of the MASTERPIECE challenge, applying and defending the CORE VALUES.

The award for engineering excellence has been sponsored by Drone by Drone, an aspect that makes us proud as it is held at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto.

In addition, we have taken an active part during the presentation of the trophies, by delivering the envelopes with the winners using a drone.

We encourage you to attend the next event, since with complete security, we will organize new experiences to be able to participate, and we are sure to have some final surprise in store like in this edition with the awards ceremony.
