Drone by Drone has been present, carrying out aerial operations using drones, at the celebration of the Copa del Rey by Athletic Club de Bilbao.
The drone operating company from Bizkaia has been in charge of carrying out the live aerial broadcast, together with a helicopter with CineFlex, for the EiTB sports services, for the long-awaited celebration of the Gabarra, for a program of more than 5 hours of duration.
Our drones have accompanied the procession since its passage through the Bizkaia Bridge (Hanging Bridge), welcoming the procession of boats (more than 150) making aerial video with live broadcast.
The technical and legal complexity of the operations, in such a demanding scenario, are evident, but our staff has been up to the task, as usual, and has shown great seriousness and professionalism.
We must keep in mind that we have operated drones together with manned aircraft: Three helicopters from the Security Forces and Corps, the EiTB helicopter and at least two light aircraft, along with the security devices deployed on the boats by the Ertzaintza and the civil Guard. Complex coordination, which has allowed us to operate and be authorized to fly in the TRA (Temporarily Restricted Zone). From this modest tribune, our most sincere thanks to all the security forces involved, for making our operations safer.
We hope you have been able to enjoy the images captured by our drones, in which the emotion and enthusiasm of the Athletic fans, represented by more than a million people who gathered on both banks of the estuary, have been appreciated at all times. from Bilbao.
