Drone by Drone has participated as a speaker in the I. Forum on Technological Solutions for Ideas and Businesses of the Blue Economy, held in Orio, Gipuzkoa. This first forum framed within the European ADT4BLUE Project, has been organized by the GAIA cluster, the Urola Kosta Commonwealth and the University of Deusto.
The drone operating company from Bizkaia has presented the maritime coastal rescue solution based on drones, and named ResQ. The ResQ system was developed and tested a few years ago, with participation in nautical rescue drills in a satisfactory manner, making it an innovative project that has full place within the so-called Blue Economy, in which new technologies and innovation are promoted. innovation applied to the marine environment and its uses. The European ADT4BLUE Project seeks to accelerate digitalization and sustainability in the Blue Economy, focusing on the adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and IoT, among students or entrepreneurs in the initial stage of business model development innovative. Different institutions, technology centers and training centers from Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal participate in it.
